We are seeking an experienced System Architect with a strong background of engineering SaaS solutions to scale. The System Architect must be an innovative technical leader with an aptitude to see the bigger picture, knowledge to recommend potential options and select the most optimal solution.
General Position Description
At this time ReloQuest has implemented a hybrid work week model consisting of 2 work days from home and 3 work days in the office. Our office is located in Weston, FL (33331). We are looking for a System Architect with a strong background of engineering SaaS solutions to scale. The System Architect must be an innovative technical leader with an aptitude to see the bigger picture, knowledge to recommend potential options and select the most optimal solution. Candidates must have experience building and maintaining enterprise-level software applications.Who We Want

Responsibilities
- Rapidly gain a deep understanding of the current ReloQuest ecosystem, including system integrations, business rules and flows.
- Utilize software development best practices, system integration architecture concepts, analytical and technical expertise, to develop and maintain ReloQuest’s multifaceted B2B SaaS platform.
- Identify key long-term architectural initiatives and efficiency across the system stack.
- Participate in product planning activities, including proof of concept activities, scoping, and sizing, identifying key dependencies required to deliver high quality solutions.
- Work with stakeholders to identify, classify and prioritize stakeholder needs. Utilize stakeholder requirements to generate and maintain system architecture specifications and requirements.
- Verify the solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose but also align with the standards of technology solutions.
- Drive a culture of quality in all deliverables and processes.
- Become security champion of the engineering organization.
- Drive technical feature reviews.
- Inspect developers' code.
- Partner with senior leadership to assist in developing the strategic direction for company-wide technology initiatives.
Qualifications
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or closely related field.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
- 5+ years working experience in a System Architect role on enterprise-scale systems.
- Hands on experience designing, developing and architecting complex systems.
- Strong understanding of software automation and DevOps practices including managing and running CI/CD pipelines. Proficiency in Linux, Git/Bitbucket, Docker, Jenkins, SonarQube, Jira.
- Experience in PHP, Angularjs, MySQL, NoSQL.
- Strong experience with Unit and Integration testing.
- Experience with security policies, related controls and evidence collection methods pertaining to certifications such as ISO27001 and SOC2 is desirable.
- Excellent technical problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to accurately estimate workload for a given task.
- 5+ years of experience in Agile software development, including SCRUM, Kanban, Scrumban, etc.
- Strong knowledge of common software engineering patterns.
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
Bonus Skills
- Strong experience with TDD is a plus.
- Experience with complex digital transformations is a plus.
- Strong experience with AWS is a plus.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and / or travel industry booking systems is a plus.
